Our Story

31 Years in the Making

From a small pre-elementary school in Heritage Homes to a complete K–12 institution — this is the story of STSM.

1994
St. Therese Learning Center Founded
Established on February 26, 1994 through the pioneering spirit of Mrs. Salvacion S. Gomez, inspired by the guidance of St. Therese of the Child Jesus. The school began offering Pre-Elementary courses, becoming the first school established in the Heritage Homes community.
1996
Elementary Program Launched · DECS Recognition E-079
With the introduction of elementary courses, the school was renamed St. Therese School of Marilao and received DECS Recognition No. E-079 — a milestone that formalized its standing as a recognized educational institution.
2002
Junior High School Opens
STSM opened its Junior High School department, extending its commitment to holistic education from elementary through secondary level.
2003
Government Recognition S-013 — First in the Community
STSM was granted a permit to operate by DepEd with Government Recognition S-013, achieving the distinction of being the first school in the Heritage Homes community to earn that honor.
2015
Senior High School Established
STSM expanded with the opening of its Senior High School department under DepEd Permit No. 446 S-2015, offering the Academic Track for Grades 11 and 12 — completing the K–12 journey for every Theresian student.
Today
31 Years · PEAC Certified · Still Growing
STSM continues to produce outstanding graduates imbued with strong values, academic excellence, and a genuine desire to serve. The school remains a center of educational formation — in service of God, country, and fellow men.
